TGS 2015: Bloodborne will get 'The Old Hunters' as its first expansion on November 24

Sony's TGS press conference kicked off with the reveal of Bloodborne's first expansion, called The Old Hunters.

This year's Sony press conference from Tokyo Game Show 2015 kicked off with SCE Worldwide Studio President Shuhei Yoshida taking the stage to reveal the latest news about PlayStation games. He started off with Bloodborne and the first expansion for From Software's adventure.

The expansion will go by the name 'The Old Hunters,' with a new trailer revealing all-new monster types and some massive new boss battles.

"Set in a nightmare world where hunters from the past are trapped forever, explore brand new stages full of dangers, rewards, and deadly beasts to overcome," SCE Japan producer Masaaki Yamagiwa says on PlayStation.Blog. "You’ll find multiple new outfits and weapons to add to your arsenal as well as additional magic to wield and add more variety to your combat strategy."

Really, the whole thing can only be done justice by a new trailer, so check it out below and enjoy. The expansion is set to release on November 24 worldwide.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
