This War of Mine tells 'The Little Ones' tale on PS4 and Xbox One in January

The war is about to be seen through a new set of eyes, with new publisher Deep Silver announcing that 11-bit Studios' This War of Mine: The Little Ones is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

This War of Mine told its story on PC late last year and has been steadily receiving updates since its release. The tale then hit mobile devices in July, but 11-bit Studios is looking to broaden even further with an expanded console version of This War of Mine set to hit early next year.

Deep Silver has taken the helm on the publisher end for the console version, which will go under the title This War of Mine: The Little Ones. This version of the game will feature all of the PC version's contents to date, while also getting new missions, new campaigns, and new characters. The new content will center around the eponymous children of the conflict, as players will watch the escalating conflict from their perspective.

This War of Mine: The Little Ones will hit PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29. Those present at PAX Prime this weekend can get a first look over at booth 1614. For more, check out the Offspring-filled trailer below.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
