Street Fighter 5 beta regional stress test kicks off today with more to come

Capcom has started a regional stress test for its beta for Street Fighter 5 with more tests expected to happen if it goes according to plan.

Capcom will be relaunching its beta for Street Fighter 5, although it will be doing so in region-specific stress tests.

The first regional test is kicking off right now in Europe from 16:00-00:00 BST and will continue on August 21 from 16:00-00:00 BST. As soon as Capcom feels confident with the results of its first regional test, it will announce the dates and times it will launch region-specific tests for North America and Asia.

Once Capcom successfully completes its stress tests, it will announce dates and times for the official global stress test, which will take place for the previously-promised five days. Capcom also reminds us that while it anticipates a smoother experience this time around, the beta may still have issues that could hinder players’ experience.

Capcom recently updated Street Fighter 5's beta client, which we thought would hint at its possible relaunch. After hearing today's news, it looks like we were pretty accurate. Now let's hope other regions won't have to wait too long until they get their chance with the beta.

Looks like even with Mercury, you still can't get the Shack without ads.
