Still waiting on a Rising Thunder code? That will no longer be necessary, from what the folks at Radiant Entertainment are now saying. Following a round of network tests, the developer has now indicated that the technical alpha is now open to everyone.

The Rising Thunder team made the announcement on Twitter (above) just moments ago. PC users looking to jump into the new fighter from the EVO co-founders and Seth Killian can sign up immediately on the game's website.

Rising Thunder has already undergone some notable changes, adding new variant moves and netcode fixes. Another balance patch is also coming soon. Shacknews recently spoke to Seth Killian about the game's design and its appeal to both newcomers and fighting game diehards. You can read that full interview here.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
