Capcom has announced its free DLC pack for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for July, which doesn’t appear to have any cross-over content like previous packs, but there’s still a number of worthwhile additions, like G Rank Gold Rathian and Silver Rathalos quests.

The July free DLC pack includes a total of 14 new quests, 5 new weapons, 3 complete armor sets, a Palico weapon and armor set, the bonus Palico “Brown Pal”, 3 Guild Card backgrounds and 7 Guild Card titles.

The Universal Studios Japan Star Knight equipment isn’t yet available as the release of this month’s DLC pack wasn’t scheduled on the first Friday of the month, which we assume is because of the upcoming holiday weekend. Capcom says the content is still coming, although it will be available at a later time.

This marks the fifth straight month Capcom has released free downloadable content for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, although it may not be the most glamorous. We've seen content the delivered goods from The Legend of Zelda, Sonic and Mario, Metroid, and Animal Crossing, although even though July's may not be as enticing, it's still additional content that's available free of charge.
