Capcom has announced its lineup of free downloadable content for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for June, which includes Animal Crossing and Devil May Cry collaborations and a special piece of gear designed by renowned Square Enix designer Tetsuya Nomura.

Completing the Animal Crossing: Fisher King and Gravios May Cry quests will reward you with Palicos gear based on their respective series, while the Square Enix content will be available upon completing The Steel Vanguard, Twilight of the Gods, Enter the Red Dragon, and The Candle of Darkness.

Here’s the amount of additional content Capcom is adding to Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate this month:

14 New quests

5 New weapons

1 Complete armor set

4 Palico weapons

4 Palico armor sets

1 Bonus Palico: Pink Pal

3 Guild Card backgrounds

6 Guild Card titles

This makes the fourth straight month of additional content Capcom has delivered for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate as we’ve seen free downloadable content in March, April, and May. We enjoyed our time with Monster Hunter 4, and with new, free DLC releasing on a monthly basis, we can’t recommend the game enough for those that own a 3DS.

There's are two ways. You can access it through the DLC menu item it the main game launch menu, or you can talk to the housekeeper palico in the living quarters.

There are free palicos and an item pack (previous) for download too, so check all the download categories and download everything. The item pack is a 1-time download that is tied to your e-shop account, and is only usable by 1 character. So choose wisely. Also, in the item pack, there are a couple of unique items. You'll need a couple of minor items you'll need to buy, but there are enough unique to make one outfit and weapon for your palicos. There are enough uniques to make 1 Mario hammer, 1 Hat (Mario or Luigi) and 1 body armor (Mario or Luigi). You can mess it up and make 2 Luigi hats or whatever, so, choose wisely.
