Persona 5 Japanese gameplay trailer leaks

Those that can't wait for the official Persona 5 trailer can check it out a little early, since the Japanese gameplay trailer has apparently leaked.

While certain Persona games are focusing on the art of dance, let's not forget that there's a whole new Persona on its way, too. Persona 5 is set to hit soon and a second Japanese trailer has been leaked.

Though the trailer is entirely in Japanese, Persona fans may be able to surmise the game's plot. It definitely has to do with destiny, the future, and a plot that sees the main character arrested shortly after masquerading in a costume. There's also another look at some of the game's battles.

Folks in Japan will get one of the first glimpses at the Persona 5 story, as a special Blu-ray movie is set to release with the first-print copies of Persona 4: Dancing All Night, which releases there later this month. North American users will have to wait a little longer, as Persona 5 hits PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 later this year.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
