Blizzcon 2015 tickets go on sale in April

Blizzard has quite a tough act to follow after last year's eventful BlizzCon. Those looking to see just how they do so will be able to pick up tickets in April.

There was something of a tempered enthusiasm going into last year's BlizzCon, with fans not knowing what more Blizzard could do to blow them away. That excitement was soon turned up to 11 with Blizzard blowing everyone away with the reveal of Overwatch, a new Hearthstone expansion, new additions to Heroes of the Storm, and of course, more on World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor. That excitement is set to continue with this year's BlizzCon and Blizzard has revealed ticket sale dates for this year's event.

Tickets will be sold in two batches, with the first batch set to be released on April 15 at 7PM PDT. The next batch will come days later on April 18 at 10AM PDT. Tickets will be priced at $199.

BlizzCon 2015 will run on Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7. Those that aren't able to acquire tickets will, once again, be able to pick up the BlizzCon Virtual Ticket. Details on that are coming soon.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
