Ubisoft announced back in November Trials Fusion would be receiving a free update that would allow racers to compete against one another in an all-new online multiplayer mode some time in 2015. It looks like we didn’t have to wait too long into the new year as Ubisoft has announced that patch is now available.

Trials Fusion Online Multiplayer is now available as a free update, allowing racers to partake in three multiplayer modes: Online X-Supercross, Private Games, and Private Games. Each game mode will pit eight players against one another as they race across two random tracks, racing two rounds on each track. The racer with the highest overall score is deemed the winner.

If you’ve been regularly playing Trials Fusion hoping to move on from leaderboards to take on actual racers, then this week is your week to do so. Just remember to try to get the best overall score possible to win your races.
