Square Enix's JRPGs have been known for some memorable music, so much so that Theathrhythm: Final Fantasy has spawned off two successful handheld releases. While Final Fantasy's soundtrack has been exhausted, Square Enix doesn't appear to be letting the Theatrhythm train stop rolling.

A Japanese teaser site has emerged for Theatrhythm: Dragon Quest, seemingly teasing a similar rhythm music game for the Dragon Quest series. And like its Final Fantasy counterpart, this Theatrhythm entry will also release on Nintendo 3DS. The discovery comes courtesy of Gematsu, which points to a March 26, 2015 release date in Japan. A North American release will likely come shortly thereafter. They also note that an official trailer is set to debut next weekend.

The teaser site can be found here. As fans wait for the teaser and wait to see how much of the Theatrhythm presentation will make the transition, let's enjoy some Dragon Quest music, yes?

But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
