HBO Go now available on Xbox One

A full month after the HBO Go app for Xbox One was spotted, it's finally been released.

According to the announcement, the Xbox One version of the app includes Kinect voice and gesture commands for easy searching. HBO Go has already been available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, it has been absent from Xbox One. Microsoft had earlier promised it would reach the platform by the end of the year.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection matchmaking patch releasing today

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is expected to receive its often-requested patch to address issues players have been experiencing with the title’s matchmaking since its launch later today, according to developer 343 Industries.

Super Smash Bros. Mewtwo will also be available as paid DLC

Super Smash Bros for Wii U is just under 24 hours from being released, and today, Nintendo has announced the previously exclusive Mewtwo DLC will be available to purchase.

Mewtwo was originally planned to be available for those who own a copy of Super Smash Bros. on both the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, leaving those who don’t own both systems feeling left out. Because of this, Nintendo has confirmed Mewtwo will be made available to purchase as add-on content sometime in the future.
