Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been out for about a week, but the multiplayer beta for Halo 5: Guardians is still set to arrive at the end of this year for anyone that picked it up. Shacknews recently had the opportunity to speak to 343 Industries creative director Tim Longo and toss him some questions from our own Chatty community.

Longo addresses the traditional elements of Halo multiplayer that make the jump to Halo 5, the customization options, the ranking system, and the idea of running at 60fps. He also discusses other aspects that make Halo's multiplayer unique, including what it is to be a Spartan.

Check out the full interview below. Thanks to Chatty posters jake, pun][sher, LoioshDwaggie, enyakk, and theperfectdrug for providing questions.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
