The NBA season has tipped off this week and 2K Sports is doing their part to help build the hoops hype. The PC version of NBA 2K15 will be available to play for free on Steam for this weekend only.

The good news comes from Operation Sports. NBA 2K15 appears to be another winner for the series, with critics offering up above-average scores. However, it's also been criticized by users for sluggish online play and various server issues.

The free weekend will last until Sunday at 1PM PST. Check out the Steam listing for more.
