Disney Infinity (2.0 Edition) lands on PC

The base application is a free download with access to various demos, with characters and Toy Box creations able to be shared with their console counterparts.

Those looking to jump into the massive toy story known as Disney Infinity will no longer need a console to get access to their favorite Marvel Super Heroes. Disney Interactive and Marvel have brought Disney Infinity (2.0 Edition) to PC as a free download, complete with free demos for many of Marvel's best.

The free version of Disney Infinity allows access to demos for Spider-Man, The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Toy Box 2.0. Daily Challenges are also available with any of the game's three free characters. The free characters will rotate out on a regular basis.

If you already purchased Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes on console, those characters can be ported over to PC, as well. Simply use the web code card that came in your package. This process can likewise be used to bring aboard any other Disney Infinity characters purchased at retail. Toy Box creations can also be swapped back and forth across the game's console and PC versions, as well as the upcoming iOS version set to release soon.
