Super Time Force Ultra gets Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead characters

The PC version of Super Time Force will also throw in three familiar Valve faces: Team Fortress 2's Pyro, Left 4 Dead's Zoey, and the man, the myth, the legend... Saxton Hale!

As we mentioned in today's New Release list for the coming week, Super Time Force Ultra is about to hit PC on Tuesday. And among the parties that are thrilled to see Capy's run-and-gun shooter is Valve. In fact, Valve is offering up some familiar names from its marquee Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead franchises as playable characters.

Those that purchase Super Time Force Ultra will get to use TF2's Pyro, who will wield his (her?) trademark flame thrower and flare gun. Zoey from L4D will use twin handguns and exploding propane tanks to take down her enemies. And of course, the manly myth and legend, Saxton Hale, will take down enemies with his bare hands, because that's what real men do!

Capy recently demonstrated all three of these characters on their Twitch channel. If you missed it, you can check out the archived stream below. These characters, as well as an extra 50 Helladeck challenge levels, will be included at no extra charge. Super Time Force Ultra will release on Tuesday on Steam for $14.99

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
