For some reason only the physical version comes with Bayonetta 1; the digital version does not:

"* The retail version of Bayonetta 2 comes with the first Bayonetta game. Digital downloads of Bayonetta 2 from Nintendo eShop do not include the first game." - from the bottom of the page at http://bayonetta2.nintendo.com/

Physical better than digital, again. You know Sony is still trying to charge a full 60 dollars for the new tomb raider on ps4 digitally, madness

Haha, I still laugh for the insanity that EA's FIFA13 on the Wii U eshop is still 70€!

It has never been worth that much even when it was new! EA is insane and so are the eshop prices for all the consoles.

That's the problem with digital downloads. All of it sounds great until you realize the pricing is controlled by the console manufacturers who have no incentive to lower prices because there's no competition. At least on the PC there's competition which leads to big sales. Wait till next generation when we're even more into, if not completely into, digital downloads. Oh and used games are gone. Of course the market could be completely different by then. No traditional hardware at all. Instead Amazon Fire TV, PlayStation TV, etc. Streaming games. Who knows.

I've said it dozens of times and people seem to come back with "nah it'll all be good, you'll see!!"
Look at the mass effect DLC
Discounted what? 4 times in the past 6 years, all within a time window of what, a day or two each time?

Great existing case of proof of them fucking us when they can
We're fucked, proper fucked - it's a miracle these consoles have discs, thank fuck.

Oh man, yesterday evening I saw some EA PSN prices, Mass Effect Trilogy is in the European PSN 69,95E. What the hell?

Also, Battlefield Hardline or whatever it was called is 72€ and then some other version of it is 83€! What the hell are they trying to accomplish with that?

Do we know if Bayo1 will be on the e-shop at least? IDGAF $100 for both works for me.

So you could pay sixty for both but have to leave the house or 100 without leaving the house and you'd opt for that?
That's the precise reason gaming will be fucking awful in five years

some people gladly give money to the right developers to support them as much as they can, me included, i see nothing wrong with that.

This is giving money to a publisher, to fuck you in the long run.

Haha, awesome. This is a beautiful opportunity to get the first game to run at an absolutely solid framerate. There were points where the 360 version would bog down a bit, and any framerate slowdown would translate into LONGER times, since the move timing seemed to be somehow keyed to frames. This was different from the PS3 version, which was mostly time-consistent across different framerates. This manifested itself mostly in Witch Time on the 360 version, since there would be lots of particles and effects floating around that aren't there in normal gameplay.

Hoped for this for the whole year since the reveal that NIntendo saved Bayonetta 2 from extinction.

Will be damn glorious, especially since it will be kind of remastered with Bayonetta taking all kinds of Samus costumes etc in to use also.

Because Nintendo was willing to fund its development. Others weren't. You wouldn't be getting it at all if not for Nintendo.

Yes, same with Itagaki's The Devil's Third. That one would've also just died out after the THQ bankcrupt situation. Nintendo came in provided the money and the game is getting made. Just like with Bayonetta 2.

I can't believe WiiU is where to go for this gen's ultimate hack 'n slashers.
