Destiny of Spirits materializes on Vita on March 25

The free-to-play social turn-based RPG, Destiny of Spirits, will be summoned onto Vita on March 25.

Destiny of Spirits has been given a release date. The free-to-play social RPG from Q Entertainment will hit Vita on March 25 and will feature a number of changes, based on feedback from last October's closed beta.

The changes, detailed in PlayStation.Blog, include reduced loading times and increased gameplay speed, increased spirit levels, more spirit slots, and Spirit Potion updates.

Destiny of Spirits has players collect Spirit Points, Summoning Stones, and Destiny Orbs in order to summon Spirits and progress through the game's world of turn-based combat. Spirits can be captured and merged to level up. Players can also rent supporter Spirits from friends to temporarily utilize their abilities.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
