The 3DS download games this week look solid. Weapon Shop de Omasse particularly sounds fun.

Absolutely amped for Banished. I've been watching some Lets Play videos of reviewers who got their hands on the game already. It is a classic city builder with resource and labor management coupled with the goal of surviving. I don't intend on doing anything else after work on Tuesday but play.

was it designed for arcades or what? How can they release a game for a 15 year-old console??

In my understanding, this studio releases all their games on Neo-Geo MVS first, which is why it's low res and sprite based. They usually port it to dreamcast a few months later.

And the reason they can do this is that the most Dreamcasts can play burned copies of games with no modification. So they don't need to use any special disc for these new games, just CDs. Later model Dreamcasts won't play burned games, and by extension, these new Dreamcast games.
