Bravely Default sequel currently in development for 3DS

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy isn't out on American shores just yet, but a sequel for the 3DS RPG is already in development, called Bravely Second.

Square Enix's 3DS RPG Bravely Default: Flying Fairy doesn't release across American shores until February 7. However, the game is already slated to receive a sequel, as the publisher has already begun development on a sequel called Bravely Second.

Japanese magazine Jump (via Siliconera) posted a scan of concept artwork, along with the game's title and a new character named Magnolia. No release date has been given for Bravely Second.

In the meantime, Bravely Default is about to launch in Europe on December 6. Here's the launch trailer.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
