Battlefield 4: Second Assault DLC coming first to Xbox One

Battlefield 4: Second Assault DLC will be available first on Xbox One.

Microsoft sure loves signing exclusive deals with first-person shooters. In addition to securing first rights to Call of Duty DLC, the company will also get first access to the "Second Assault" DLC for Battlefield 4. It will be available first on Xbox One, and will presumably come to every other platform afterwards.

This isn't the first bit of DLC announced for DICE's new shooter. China Rising is also a pre-order bonus for the game, which ships in October.

Here's the footage they showed from the Xbox conference. According to DICE, the Xbox One version will run at 60 frames per second, unlike your awful, dated current-gen consoles.

The game isn't even out, and this is news? Who gets the first DLC pack first?

the Xbone announcement last month or whatever, MS/EA noted that a bunch of DLC is coming out there first. It doesn't sway my decision, but I'm sure it might sway some consumer's choices.

Not really news without the length of the exclusivity period. PS3 had the DLC a week in advance with BF3, yeah?

Will it be the same here or a month?

Just heard that the DLC is basically just 3-4 fan favorite BF3 maps but upgraded to BF4 level destruction. Fail.

Ugh... Metro v2. I'd be more than happy to not buy that shit.
