I'm powering through my stack of unfinished games, polishing off Mass Effect this weekend. I'm glad I waited for a new computer to play as I would have missed out on all those wonderful clean lines--which I enjoyed an unhealthy amount--at the lowest graphics settings, not to mention some of video games' most spectacular skyboxes.

Shack PSA: terrorist training camps will reportedly begin recruiting in shopping malls worldwide at midnight tonight so please do be careful if you're on a late-night coffee run.

    Not being a console player, how did they handle Lean on the original CoD4 with gamepads? Do we know what, if anything, was replaced by it in MW2?

        my point is that they don't just come out and say it. they bring up retarded reasons, like its not balanced for lean, or the best experience is 9v9, etc.

        IW is trying to give the same experience on all platforms. Everything they've done brings the PC and consoles to feature-parity (excluding the control interface).

        Should probably add the game was definitely designed for lean. There were a lot of areas in the single player that seemed to be based on luck or map knowledge, simply because you could not lean.

        People have been making fun of IW for claiming the game wasn't designed for lean, as if it were impossible/hard to do. My comment was more toward addressing that with a claim that CoD4 was (apparently) designed for that ability, and the lack of it made the 360 version harder.
