      Well, to be exact, they did alienate many with the UT2k* games due to their ineptness to understand that CTF is what MADE UT.
      That, as well as horrible maps for the most part in DM and CTF, as well as adding stuff like the shieldgun.
      So....while they did improve certain weapon mechanics, they didn't improve their overall situation with TDM, and surely lost MANY fans of UT CTF.
      
      That said, it seems like Onslaught was successful for them, and this new game type might be even more so.
