Mario Kart Tour is all about choosing the best racer, kart, and glider. But, on top of that, being able to drift around corners expertly is key to your success as a racing star. That’s why many have found themselves wondering if Mario Kart Tour has controller support on iOS and Android. Here’s everything you need to know.

Does Mario Kart Tour have controller support?

If you’re one of the many hoping to make use of a controller of some sort with Mario Kart Tour, unfortunately, we have some bad news for you. At this point in time, Mario Kart Tour does not offer any kind of controller support for users playing on iOS or Android. This means you’re simply going to need to make do with the default control options in the game.

While these control options can be a bit frustrating, once you’ve taken some time to get used to them, they work fairly well. Even then, racing in Mario Kart Tour is more about points than anything when it comes to challenges, so you shouldn’t have to worry too much about being the best racer around, at least not until multiplayer arrives and you want to show off to your friends.

Mario Kart Tour controller support

Unfortunately, we don’t know if Nintendo has any plans of offering any kind of controller support for Mario Kart Tour in the future. All we can really do is wait it out and see if any kind of support becomes available down the road. With so many people wanting to play the game with a controller, though, it would make sense for the gaming giant to push some kind of controller support system out to the game.

It's the mobile version of Mario Kart. You don't need a controller...

        1) has already been answered
        2) Because it's the best Mario Kart, it's still a huge seller on the Switch, and no one sells Switch games (I've checked, Switch games have probably the smallest active resell market I've ever seen for a current console).

It has multiplayer, wouldn't controller support effectively ruin that mode? I think the current controls are fine but there are too many concessions made. You can essentially drive forward and you will eventually cross the finish line. There is no damage or significant slow down (or any other negative effect that I can tell) if you collide with a wall.

there is slow-down if you run into the dirt. multiplayer isnt in yet, coming soon. I still can't turn very tightly, I think people are swiping multiple times to turn sharply?
