The Fangs of Shun’gath are another weapon part players will need to find in Destiny 2. This is part of the Essence of Rage quest which rewards the One Small Step shotgun. Tracking down the location of the Fangs of Shun’gath is easy enough, as it’s located in one of the Moon’s underground areas.

Where to find Fangs of Shun’gath

To find the Fangs of Shun’gath, you will need to travel to the World’s Grave, an area below the surface of the Moon. This is an easy location to find, as it’s relatively close to the surface, unlike a few of the other locations. This weapon part is for the Essence of Rage and it is acquired by killing a specific enemy – Shun’gath, the Excised.

The World’s Grave can be accessed by starting at the Sanctuary fast travel point on the Moon. Head right to the Anchor of Light and pass the turn off to the Ketch. As you approach the building, turn right and head down to the Temple of Crota.

Pass through the underground tunnels, wrapping around the Hive drop pod and down the next set of stairs and ramps. As you enter the next large room with the next Hive drop pod, hang a right and pass through the door.

Follow the balcony ledge along and around to the left, pass through the door and you’ll be in the World’s Grave. Pass through the room to the other side and go through the door at the top of the stairs. The next room houses Shun’gath, and a bunch of other enemies. After Shun’gath, the Excised is defeated, you will receive the Fangs of Shun’gath. All you need to do now is finish the rest of the steps in the Essence of Rage and the One Small Step shotgun will be yours.

Now that you’ve found the Fangs of Shun’gath, you can continue chasing max Power and planning out your raid runs. Swing by the Shacknews Destiny 2 guide for more Essence weapon part walkthroughs.
