If you’re attending TwitchCon 2019, or if you just want to get ahead of the game and plan for next year, then you’ll be very happy to know that Twitch has already revealed the dates and locations for TwitchCon 2020.

Just like 2019, there will be two official conventions for TwitchCon 2020, an Amsterdam event and a San Diego event. Each event is set to take part a few months away from the other, which should give possible attendees plenty of time to decide which event they want to attend.

TwitchCon Amsterdam will take place between May 2-3, 2020, allowing those across the pond to get together with their favorite content creators, enjoy some laughs, some drinks, and just all around have a great time. Then, once the fall rolls around, streamers can rejoin Twitch in celebration for TwitchCon San Diego from September 25-27, 2020.

Of course, there isn’t any real information on when tickets for either of the TwitchCon 2020 events will go on sale, or even how much they’ll cost, so make sure to keep your eyes glued here to Shacknews for more info. This isn’t the only news that Twitch shared this evening during the company’s first-ever opening ceremony keynote. On top of revealing the TwitchCon 2020 dates, Twitch also went into details about several new features that they have been working on and plan to release in the coming months.

You can learn more about all of the new features that Twitch revealed tonight by heading over to our original post from earlier this evening. Long story short, Twitch has features in the works that will help make moderation easier, empower new and experienced streamers, and just all around making the live streaming process easier for both viewers and streamers by giving entertainers everything they need in one handy place.
