Weekend Console Download Deals for Aug 23: Get over here!

If you're excited by this week's Kombat Pack reveal, then maybe it's a good time to pick up Mortal Kombat 11, which is headlining this week's console download deals.

School is back in session for a lot of young lions out there and they probably want to forget all about the fact that they'll be there for at least the next nine months. Maybe some video games can get their minds off of school for at least a weekend. Fortunately, there are some great deals to be found for the next few days.

Mortal Kombat 11 is on sale across the board, so pick your favorite version between PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch and pick it up right now at a discount. Keep in mind, though, that PlayStation is also slashing the price on the Kombat Pack, so think about that if you ever want to play as Spawn or Terminator. Speaking of PlayStation, they've got some great indies on sale as part of the August Savings sale, while Xbox is offering its Gold members a great deal on Kingdom Hearts III.

And if you love Phoenix Wright, this is the weekend for you! The Ace Attorney franchise is on sale across all three consoles. That means the Ace Attorney Trilogy is on sale for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch, but it also means that if you have a Nintendo 3DS, the full Ace Attorney franchise is on sale there. So take a look at any of the subsequent sequels and consider picking them up this weekend.
