Snag an expensive (or cheaper) special edition of Biomutant before we even get a game release date.

THQ Nordic is at it again with the pricey collector's editions.

After debuting the expensive Destroy All Humans! options that will be coming out further down the line when the reboot hits store shelves, the company has introduced two new Biomutant special editions, complete with trailers for each and a pre-order link ready to suck up some of your sweet, sweet cash. This “open-word, post-apocalyptic kung-fu fable RPG” certainly looks interesting, as does its collector's edition.

The Atomic Edition retails for a whopping $399 and will get you the following items:

  • High Detail Diorama - 60cm/23" long, 25cm/10" width, 30cm/12" height
  • Game Biomutant
  • Steelbook
  • T-Shirt in L/XL
  • Oversized Mousepad 80cm/31" x 35cm/14"
  • Artwork on Fabric A1 size
  • Soundtrack
  • Premium Box

Meanwhile, the vastly cheaper Collector's Edition is $109.99 and includes the following:

  • Game Biomutant
  • Game hero figurine
  • Artwork on Fabric A1 size
  • Soundtrack
  • Premium Box

Both packages can be pre-ordered now via the official Biomutant website. There has still yet to be a release date for the upcoming game, and we honestly don't know that much about it just yet. But with these kinds of special editions, it looks like the publisher is quite confident in its ability to move units. It's set to debut on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
