Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 has received its first official gameplay trailer at the PC Gaming Show at E3 2019. Please take a look at the extended gameplay trailer below!

The trailer for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 includes a little bit of story to set the scene as well as a lot of gameplay to quench your thirst. Of the gameplay shown, there was a special focus on various vampire abilities players would be able to use.

It appears as if players will have the ability to summon a colony of bats to harass and damage enemy vampires or to be used in addition to a dash to cross large distances. The main character is also seen dropping from a rooftop to the ground without much problem, whether or not this means players will be able to do the same remains to be seen. There are also other means of traversal, including the ability to scale walls.

In terms of offensive abilities, the main character is seen using telekinesis to pull a shotgun into their grasp from several feet away and even send out a shockwave to blast enemies back.

The trailer also briefly shows what looks like a rather in-depth conversation system. Aside from a few different responses, additional options allowed for coercion and even negotiation. This is quite similar to a recent favorite vampire game of mine, Vampyr, which had a rather extensive dialogue tree system and consequences tied to conversations.
