Doom Eternal has received its first story trailer at the Bethesda E3 2019 showcase. The trailer features plenty of action, but also a bit of narrative to set the scene. It appears as if Doom Slayer will be killing beyond just the normal realms seen in previous titles. Please check out the trailer below!

As you can see, the Doom Eternal trailer showcases a few different environments, including some new ones players haven’t seen before. The Doom Slayer won’t just be venturing between the surface of Mars and the warped underbelly of Hell, he’ll also be ripping and tearing through Heaven and bringing some of the action to the Sentinel home world.

The end of the trailer also shows a glimpse of arguably the biggest demon players have ever had to face. The Doom Slayer may need more than his trusty chainsaw to take down this skyscraper-tall behemoth. Perhaps we’ll be using the mighty Crucible to cleave the demon apart.

This trailer was one of several videos released for Doom Eternal. There was also a Doom Eternal gameplay trailer featuring some new finishers and the new shoulder-mounted weaponry. But the action didn’t stop there, as id Software also shared some more details on Doom Eternal’s multiplayer mode.

Doom Eternal’s release date was also announced during the Bethesda E3 2019 press conference. Players can look forward to slaying demons and angels on November 22 when Doom Eternal releases on Windows PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Check out the 2019 video game release date schedule for all the other hottest games releasing this year.

With the Bethesda conference completed, all that remains now is Monday and Tuesday’s offerings, and then the rest of the week’s video game goodness. Shacknews will be live from the show floor this week, bringing you the latest news and announcement straight out of E3 2019.
