Sunday's Xbox E3 Briefing went forward with a brand new game reveal. Touted as an epic collaboration between Bandai Namco, FromSoftware, and Game of Thrones producer George R.R. Martin, players were treated to a first look at an all-new adventure called Elden Ring.

Little is known about Elden Ring, in terms of gameplay. However, Bandai and FromSoftware's collaborative efforts are well-known, with the two parties having previously worked together on the Dark Souls trilogy. It looks to be more ambitious than any of those previous projects, with Bandai Namco calling it FromSoftware's largest game to date.

Elden Ring is coming soon to Xbox One and PC. There isn't much known about this game so far, but Shacknews will continue to monitor any and all news regarding this unexpected collaboration.

But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
