Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 2019 has just concluded with a decisive victory for Team Japan. Taking on the best Smash Ultimate players from across the globe, Konbu, Zackray, Kuro, and akasa managed to secure a win and take home their prized 3v3 World Championship 2019 trophies.
Kicking off at 3 p.m. PT, the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 2019 was the third of three planned tournaments ahead of Nintendo's presence at this year's E3. The others were Super Mario Maker 2 Invitational 2019, where AbdallahSmash026 managed to secure a victory, and the Splatoon 2 World Championship 2019, where Japan's GG Boyz managed to clinch a victory over FTWin.
For those who may have missed the details, here are the team lineups: On Team USA was Devonte, Poltergust, Wrath, and DTFaux. Team Europe rolled in with Sirjob, RobinGG, Light, and Thunda. Finally, Team Australia/New Zealand came to the brawl with SebPro101, Ichigo, Ghost, and Pillowtalk.

There were plenty of fantastic matchups between the teams, but when it was all said and done, Team Japan secured a handy victory. Zackray was particularly menacing with Cloud, besting Team Europe with several surprising wins. Of course, it all came down to the matchup between Konbu and SirJob's Zero Suit Samus, but Konbu was able to pick up a Super Mushroom, grow his Mii Swordfighter to tremendous size, and take him out with one well-timed slice in a 3-1 victory.
