With a variety of weapons and sweet abilities to make use of, combat is a thrill to take part in. If you picked up the Deluxe Edition of the game, then you can add an additional weapon to your collection, one that players might recognize from the DOOM series. In this guide I’ll tell you how to get your hands on the BFG 9000 in Rage 2.

How to get Doom’s BFG 9000 in Rage 2

As stated above, the BFG 9000 is only available to players who picked up the Deluxe Edition of the game. If you already have the Deluxe Edition of the game, simply load it up and look for the option to link your Bethesda Account from the main menu. You’re going to need to link your game to an active Bethesda Account in order to access your various goodies.

Select the link option and then go ahead and enter in your information. Once you’ve connected your account, exit out of the game and then relaunch it. After that, load back into the game. You should get a pop up about your preorder bonus, as well as instructions on where to find the BFG 9000.

After you’ve connected you Bethesda Account to the game, a meteor will land just outside of Vineland. Travel to this location and look for the meteor, which will have burst open, revealing the BFG 9000 inside. Grab the weapon to add it to your collection of gear, and then make your way up to Wellspring to purchase more ammunition.
