ShackStream: Driving Dangerously

Relive the glory days of your driving past with the new crash-tastic game from Criterion veterans responsible for the Burnout series.

High-speed cars and spectacular wrecks are the only ingredients needed to make a wonderful driving game stew. Top video game chefs know this, as do the millions of Burnout fans worldwide. Now that Burnout creators Criterion are members of the EA family assisting other studios with projects, a few members of the old team went indie and Dangerous Driving is their new game.

If you’ve ever played a Burnout game before, you already know how Dangerous Driving will play out. For the uninitiated, the basic premise is that you drive fast and tap enemy cars in hope of earning a takedown, a violent high-speed wreck that eliminates a car from the event. Expect spectacular crashes and lots of speed.

On today’s ShackStream, we hit the streets with the PC version of Dangerous Driving to find out if it is the game Burnout diehards have been waiting for.

The fun kicks off at 2:45 PM EDT (11:45 PDT) on the Official Shacknews Twitch Channel.
