April Fools: ThinkGeek Bean Bag Onesie & Kirby Robot Vacuum

This ThinkGeek bean bag onesie and Kirby robot vacuum is practically why April Fools' Day was created.

Ever thought about how you could improve your current Roomba? ThinkGeek has, and it's glorious.

In a duo of April Fools' Day 2019 product unveilings, ThinkGeek has shown off the Roomby, a Kirby robot vacuum adorned with the adorable little guy. While it may look real enough to buy, as soon as you click on the "buy now" button, you'll be fooled. Or just angry, like I was, because $299 seems reasonable enough for a pink Roomba with various interchangeable Kirby designs, right? Just read these "specs" for the product!

  • The most adorable cordless robot vacuum on the market
  • Features 41 custom emotes provided by Makiko Ohmoto and 3 different transitioning poses
  • The soft Kirby fixture can be removed to allow the robot vacuum to get in hard-to-reach places
  • Advanced smart mapping technology prevents Kirby from going off to Dream Land, or any other place you don't want him to go

If you're telling me you don't want a Kirby "Roomby" after that and looking at Kirby's sweet sleeping face, well, you've gotta be lying.

But wait, there's also the Bean Bag Onesie. It's made with comfort in mind, with all the right junk in all the right places. This, dear Shackers, is a onesie with an enormous caboose. You're meant to sit in it and carry your own seat with you, but it looks more like you've got a giant badonk. This girl looks like she quite enjoys having a big badonk, or she has no idea that this onesie has something like that sewn into the butt.

She's all about that bass, no treble.

You've really got to hand it to ThinkGeek this year, showing out with products I'd probably actually buy for the hilarity factor. But the onesie would have to feel something like dragging soiled pants around, and the comfort factor is probably quite low there.

Either way, we really wanted that Kirby vacuum to be real. It could have been so perfect, ThinkGeek. Why'd you play us like that?
