One Piece: World Seeker made an appearance during the latest Inside Xbox episode, with a brand new trailer.

The upcoming action-adventure game based on the popular anime and manga series One Piece, is coming later this week, and players jump into the shoes of Monkey D. Luffy as he takes on enemies throughout Jail Island. There are baddies around every corner as you explore the New World. And you know Luffy ain't no dumb-dumb – yo ho ho, he took a bit of Gum Gum!

Combat will feature various different elements, including stealth and Luffy's Observation Haki, so he can see enemies no matter where they are, even behind walls. You'll see familiar techniques from the anime as well, like the Gum Gum Rocket as well as the Gum Gum Bazooka.

There's already DLC planned for World Seeker, and it's poised to hit later this year during the summer. It will be bringing new missions and additional goodies for players

This is hardly the first One Piece game out there, but it looks to be one of the most ambitious. There's a lot going on in the confusing One Piece universe too, so it'll be interesting to see how the game plans on holding the attention of players who may never have watched a single episode or read a page of the manga.

Despite some missteps, the recent Jump Force did a decent job of just that, as it gathered together several popular members of the Jump Comics roster (like characters from One Piece) and had them brawl it out with each other.

The game debuts on March 15, 2019, which is this weekend. Get ready to flip through the pages of your favorite manga volume and watch the One Piece cast come to life.
