Does Crackdown 3 allow four-player cooperative play?
Unfortunately, Crackdown 3 does not include four-player cooperative play. Both Crackdown and Crackdown 2 featured two-player co-op, though Crackdown 2 upped the maximum of cooperative players to four. Somewhere during the development of Crackdown 3, Sumo Digital decided that two-player co-op would suffice, and support for four-player co-op was removed from the equation.
With that said, there's more than enough fun to be found for two cooperative players. Just about everything that's available during solo play can be found in cooperative sessions, including the ability to blow up chimera fields and even find Agent DNA to unlock further character customization options.
