What’s the deal with this Lunar New Year? If you are like most people, you probably think the new year began back on the first day of January. Well, I’m here to tell you that most people are casuals and are not dialed in to the best new year, the Lunar New Year. Also known as the Chinese New Year, this method of mapping days is based around cycles of the moon. In China and several other east Asian countries, the lunar new year marks the beginning of huge celebrations. The folks at Valve are getting in on the fun by offering loads of great PC games at big discounts for the Steam Lunar New Year Sale.

If you put any value on the Chinese Zodiac Calendar, you’d know that 2019 is the year of the pig. Of the animals that are included in the twelve year Zodiac cycle, the pig is clearly the best. Not because I am a pig, just because it’s the truth. The Wikipedia page for the Chinese Zodiac animals explains that pigs are known to be “refined, intuitive, intelligent, and fine artists in their lovemaking.” You can’t argue with science, folks. Let us get back to this Steam Sale.
