Tech manufacturers are always itching to show off their latest merchandise, and conventions like CES make for the perfect opportunity. Shacknews was on-site at CES 2019 to get a look at the freshest PC hardware and components, and among the hottest devices on the showroom floor was the new Gigabyte Aero 15. Created as a cutting-edge laptop for consumers with high power demands, the Aero 15 offers juice to spare thanks to the latest NVIDIA RTX 2080 GPU and late-model Intel processors.

The new Gigabyte Aero 15 should prove to be quite the machine. In addition to its super-slim form factor, tiny screen bezels, and optional LG IPS 144hz display, the unit notably includes RTX-powered graphics, either the 2070 or 2080, mated to an Intel i7 or i9 processor. It comes with a revamped touchpad with support for a wide variety of gestures, and the unit also includes two SSD slots so players can load up on quick-access storage options.

One of the most interesting aspects of the Gigabyte Aero 15 is its cooling system. Two heatsink fans are found within the laptop, one for the CPU and the other for the GPU, and both are controlled by artificial intelligence in order to "reduce the heat and noise" as well as improve performance across gaming or other common uses. Backed by Microsoft Azure, the system processes data and makes use of cloud computing to learn "how to allocate power to CPU or GPU" depending on the system's needs at the time.

Though no specific release date or price was provided, according to the official Gigabyte website, the Aero 15 will be available at several major PC retailers, including Amazon and Newegg online.
