January's free Twitch Prime games are serving some awesome game realness once more, as the first series of free games of 2019 have been revealed.

If you're a Twitch Prime member, you can now add Hyper Light Drifter, Orwell, Republique, and Bomber Crew to your PC game collection.

Hyper Light Drifter is a 2D action role-playing game with neon pixelated graphics, following a character named the Drifter. The Drifter can utilize tech that's long been forgotten by those in the game's world, though is suffering from an unknown malady. The Drifter has a special energy sword that can be used to unlock new abilities and weapons that can be used against monsters that get increasingly more difficult to take down.

Orwell is an episodic simulation game that finds players taking on the role of state operatives, who are looking to monitor citizens for potential security threats. In the country called the Nation, The Party spies on all its citizens via the special surveillance system Demiurge, which was later named Orwell after the famous writer. Orwell has players looking into the private lives of citizens to see if they're "threats" to the government or not – among other things.

République is another game that has players exploring a world that's been governed by a totalitarian state. Players have to control surveillance cameras in Republique to communicate with protagonist Hope, while taking into devices and helping Hope escape the predicament she's found herself in.

Bomber Crew is a lot different from the other three games, as it's a strategic World War II bombing sim that has you selecting the best bombers for each job and then carrying out the missions. It's pretty tense, even though it's absolutely adorable.

If you're interested in trying out this month's free games, they're live right now via Twitch Prime. Let us know which ones end up vibing with you the most.
