TGA 2018: Rage 2 trailer reveals May 2019 release date

Players tuning in to The Game Awards 2018 were treated to a fresh new trailer for Avalanche Studios' upcoming title Rage 2, complete with a Spring 2019 release date.

There's no end to the fresh new reveals dropping over at The Game Awards 2018. The latest teaser trailer comes from the crew at Avalanche Studios, who have given fans a fresh new look at Rage 2. Check out the new trailer featured below.

The new trailer focuses on the open-world aspects of Rage 2, showcasing some of the best of what series fans have come to expect from the series. It's clear that Avalanche Studios and Bethesda are pouring everything they've got into the new game, and it shows, with plenty of over-the-top action and a distinct style that seems to say "there's still fun to be had even though the world has been decimated."

In addition to a new look at the latest game's visual and style, the new trailer also revealed a formal release date. Rage 2 will be launching across the globe for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PCs on May 14, 2019.
