Weta Digital is a premier visual effects company and Shacknews got an opportunity to speak with their Head of Software Engineering, Paolo Emilio Selva. As a driving force for the company's innovation, Paolo Emilio Selva has enabled high-performance computing that helped to deliver the visuals for works like Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, The Jungle Book, Rampage, and many more. He's also working on the upcoming Avatar 2 and Alita: Battle Angel films.

We chatted with Paolo Emilio Selva at View Conference 2018 and he dished on the evolution of technology and pushing the limits of available technology. "Instead of taking say, five years, it could take one year or less," he says about the workflows, which is also evolving along with the technology the team uses. Check out this interview and leave some feedback.

View Conference 2018 was ripe for content, so head over to the Shacknews and GamerhubTV YouTube channels for a whole lot more. Also, dig into the archives and keep an eye on future uploads for exclusive interviews, walkthroughs, gameplay, and more.
