Red Dead Redemption 2 score and soundtrack features Willie Nelson, Nas, Josh Homme and more artists

There are a lot of well-known creators in the mix, bringing layers of authenticity and quality to Red Dead Redemption 2's auditory elements.

Shacknews has already gathered some of the most popular voice actors and cast that worked on Red Dead Redemption 2, but, Rockstar Games is breaking open the seal on another auditory focus in their open-world western. Red Dead Redemption 2 features a dynamic score composed by Woody Jackson, who worked on the first Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire, and Grand Theft Auto 5.

It takes a team effort to bring a massive game like this to life aurally, so here's a full roster of people that worked on the score for Red Dead Redemption 2 along with highlights of their previous work:

Rockstar Games also recruit over 100 other musicians, including former Mars Volta drummer Jon Theodore and Mikey Shoes of Queens of the Stone Age. Red Dead Redemption 2's world is flush with voiced NPCs that contribute to the player's immersion and these vocal moments were produced entirely by Grammy Award-winner Daniel Lanois, who has produced projects for Bob Dylan, Willie Nelseon, and U2.
