Telltale Games reportedly lays off remaining 25 employees

The "skeleton crew" left after mass Telltale Games layoffs appear to have been let go as well.

It appears the 25 remaining employees left behind after Telltale Games' recent mass layoffs have been reportedly let go as well. Following the studio's unfortunate layoffs on September 21, it was previously reported that a small crew would remain to work on additional engagements and products still on the studio's docket.

Now, according to narrative designer Rachel Noel's tweets, it looks as though the "skeleton crew," as the last few employees had been referred to, have now been laid off as well. The few left to complete the work the studio was contractually obligated to complete have apparently all been let go without severance (as the first wave of employees were), though that's all we know at this time. Telltale Games has yet to release an official statement on this additional move, but Shacknews wishes the best for all the former employees caught in the crossfire with this additional shakeup.

Stay tuned to Shacknews for additional updates on the situation as they occur.
