Hikaru Utada has already revealed a theme for Kingdom Hearts 3, as expected considering she's responsible for themes in the previous main entries for the series, but a new opening song is in the works. Today, Square-Enix revealed that Utada and Skrillex have collaborated on an original track for the game's launch and it will release on January 18, 2019, alongside the previously revealed theme, "Don't Think Twice."

According to the press release from Square-Enix, Skrillex was originally brought on to remix "Don't Think Twice". The friendship between Hikaru Utada and Skrillex, however, lead to the creation of a new and original song. It's called "Face My Fears" and was produced by Poo Bear, an artist, producer, and songwriter known for his work with Justin Bieber. Poo Bear also worked with artist Lupe Fiasco under the name MDMA.

Kingdom Heart 3 launches January 29, 2019, on Xbox One and PS4. Stay tuned to Shacknews for additional updates.
