Hot Wheels Triple Threat DLC racing into Rocket League next week

Three new Hot Wheels-inspired battle cars and a variety of toppers and paint jobs will be available in this new DLC.

Multiplayer gaming phenomenon Rocket League continues to sit atop the video game mountain after taking the world by storm with its unique blend of soccer and stunt driving. Thanks to a partnership between developer Psyonix and the Hot Wheels brand, player can expect to see three all-new battle cars, new toppers, and more in the upcoming Hot Wheels Triple Threat DLC.

Arriving on September 24 for the price of $5.99, the Hot Wheels Triple Threat DLC features three new battle cars: Gazella GT, MR11, and Fast 4WD. In addition to these new cars, player will also get exclusive decals and toppers. All players will gain access to the new Hot Wheels Rivals Arena, even if they haven’t purchases the new DLC. The full contents of the DLC are as follows:

  • Three Premium Battle-Cars: Gazella GT, MR11, and Fast 4WD
  • Four unique decals for each of the premium Battle-Cars
  • Gorilla, Snake, and Spider Toppers
  • New Hot Wheels Rivals Arena
  • Hot Wheels 50th Anniversary-themed customization items

If that wasn’t enough, the physical Hot Wheels Rocket League 5-Pack will be available in participating stores worldwide beginning mid-October! The Gazella GT, MR11, Fast 4WD, Bone Shaker, and Twin Mill III Battle-Cars are brought to real life as diecast toys and specially marked packs will include a code that unlocks the exclusive in-game DLC item, Hot Hot Wheels.
