It's time to go back to school and there are a couple of ways that PC gamers can cope with this time of the year. Ubisoft is looking to help out and also build up to their upcoming massive sequel by offering up a free weekend for Tom Clancy's The Division. With The Division 2 around the corner, it's a good time to check out this effort that got off to a rough start and has since come along to be one of the more solid MMO games out there.

Those looking for something else to get into can check out Call of Duty: WWII's multiplayer. If you're waiting for the Blackout beta on Monday on PS4, why not kill some time with WWII's multiplayer? Lastly, developer Pearl Abyss is offering up its MMORPG, Black Desert Online, for free this weekend, giving players a fresh sandbox to explore.

There are also some big-time sales across other retailers. GOG.com is offering up its Back to School Sale, while the Humble Store wraps up its Summer Sale. And speaking of the folks at Humble Bundle, the new Humble Monthly offers up Overwatch at its lowest price ever. Simply subscribe for this month and get Blizzard's team-based shooter, but be sure to stay subscribed, because there are bonus Loot Boxes in it for you if you do.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
