We're now only a few days away from the release of Marvel's Spider-Man, the latest adventure of the iconic web-slinger and one of the most ambitious PlayStation 4 exclusives ever crafted by the crew at Insomniac Games. Fans have been given loads of photos and video of the base game, and now we're being treated to new information about the game's upcoming The City That Never Sleeps DLC pack. In particular, Insomniac Games has released an all-new teaser trailer showcasing Black Cat as part of the DLC pack known as The Heist.

Becoming available on October 23, The Heist centers around Black Cat, also known as Felicia Hardy, who tries to catch the attention of Spider-Man by leaving various clues hidden around Manhattan. James Stevenson, community director for Insomniac Games, gives a little background into Black Cat's role in the game and what players can expect from her part of the City That Never Sleeps DLC pack.

"As you play the base game, you'll realize that Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat, is back in town and she's leaving clues around town to toy with Spider-Man," Stevenson said. "In Marvel's Spider-Man: The Heist, she finally reveals herself. Featuring new missions and challenges, as well as a brand new faction of enemies and three additional suits to unlock."

Following on The Heist, The City That Never Sleeps will also include two other DLC packs: Turf Wars and Silver Lining. Players who want to get in on all of the added content can pick up the complete The City That Never Sleeps bundle for $25; alternatively, they can buy each DLC pack ala carte for $10 each. Players can also expect a day one patch that will offer access to the new Photo Mode.

Marvel's Spider-Man is set to release for PlayStation 4 on September 7. Fans can expect Shacknews' review of the game to go live tomorrow, September 4, around 7 a.m. PST, and we've got loads of additional coverage planned for the days and weeks following the game's release.
