PAX West 2018: Hitman 2 travels to the jungles of Colombia

Hitman has often been about blending into crowded areas, but what happens when Agent 47 hits the isolated South American jungle?

During what's been a busy Friday at PAX West, Warner Bros. and IO Interactive have offered up some new details on the upcoming Hitman 2. That new information comes in the form of a new video showing off one of the game's newest locales.

Agent 47 will travel down to Colombia for one of his upcoming missions. While most Hitman missions have players blending in with the public, this mission will have Agent 47 trying to fit in with nature itself. That means staying quiet, staying hidden, and making sure the enemy never hears you coming. Fortunately, with the jungle providing lush plantlife, disposing of corpses has never been simpler.

It won't be long before Agent 47 enters the field again. Hitman 2 releases on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 13. Those looking for an idea of what the game looks like can check out our post-E3 gameplay footage.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
