Bethesda's E3 2018 briefing kicked off with a bang, especially for players who like long-haired guys in white pants headbanging to to piano melodies, and among a number of new looks at games like Rage and the revamped Elder Scrolls Legends, players got some new details about Bethesda's hit MMO The Elder Scrolls Online.

Aside from the new Elder Scrolls Online E3 2018 trailer featured above, the developers also teased two new expansions: Murkmire, which is slated to take the game back to the area known as Blackmarsh, giving players a fresh taste for Argonian lore and culture; and Wolfhunter, a new set of DLC dungeons. Details were fairly slim on both, but we will likely hear more about both content packs during the course of E3 2018.

The buzz for The Elder Scrolls Online only seems to be growing: the presentation noted that the community has been growing, recently reaching over 11 million players across the globe, with over one million new players joining in the last year alone. It was also noted that The Elder Scrolls Online has been named MMO of the year for the third year in a row, likely due to continued support in the form of new downloadable content like Morrowind and the recently-released Summerset expansion.
