LEGO DC Super-Villains Lets You Fill the Blocky Shoes of the Bad Guy

Being bad never felt so good.

LEGO DC Super-Villains is the latest entry into the hilarious LEGO video game series but this time instead of towing the line as a boring good guy, players will get to rain mischief down as the bad guy.

LEGO DC Super-Villains doesn’t just let gamers play as one of DC’s most iconic bad guys, it lets them create their own villain at the onset of the campaign. Thanks to an unprecedented amount of customization, players can choose exactly how their villains look, and what unique abilities and powers their bad guy will have. As the story progresses, more abilities will be unlocked, increasing the strength of the main character.

As for the story, LEGO DC Super-Villains centers on a world where the Justice League has up and left, leaving in charge the Justice Syndicate, a totally-not-evil group of “do-gooders”. With the player taking command of the situation with their unique super-villain, iconic baddies from the DC universe will join the fight to foil the plans of these evil pretenders. It's not just a solo experience though, as friends and family can join in on the fun at any time with the two-player, local co-op.

A deluxe edition of the game has also been revealed, including the main game and a season pass that gives early access to DC Super-Villains: TV Series DLC Character Pack, as well as a LEGO minifigure of Lex Luthor Superman. The digital version of the deluxe edition will come with the Justice League Dark DLC Character Pack.

LEGO DC Super-Villains is being developed by TT Games, and will be released on October 16, 2018 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
